Know who you’re teaching.
Jamie and Alex share a Wednesday lesson at Riverside. The schedule keeps its time, location and participants together, so their instructor can open the right record.
- Find Wednesday’s 6:00 pm lesson.
- See both named participants.
- Open the session to prepare for class.
The same lesson becomes the teaching record. There’s no separate register to piece together.

During class
Practice and assessment stay distinct.
Both students attended. Jamie demonstrated the front kick requirement; Alex practised the first combination. The instructor records each outcome deliberately, then saves the lesson.
- Record Jamie and Alex as present.
- Keep Alex’s practice separate from Jamie’s instructor sign-off.
- Save attendance and learning together. Correct the record later if needed.
Practising a skill does not sign it off. A sign-off does not award a belt.

After class
Pick up where the lesson left off.
Jamie can see the instructor’s front kick sign-off in training. The first combination still needs practice. Learning history and shared feedback give the next lesson direction.
- Review the requirement the instructor signed off.
- Find what to practise next.
- Keep readiness, grading and a confirmed rank award as separate decisions.
Each student has their own record. A guardian sees only the children linked to their account, and private instructor notes stay private.
